We support education in Cecil County.

The Cecil County Retired School Personnel Association's mini grant committee presented checks to the eight teachers chosen to receive this annual award. Applicants received from $210 to $270 each for a project to be completed with the students they have this 2024-2025 school year.
At Rising Sun High School, Kim Dyar, media specialist and Christine Zatalava, Honors Research and Design teacher, received checks presented by Charlene Metzger and Amy Ide as principal James Miro looked on. Cecil County School of Technology instructors of nursing assistants Elizabeth Money and Deborah Coutu received a grant. Also pictured are principal Nicole Parr, Amy Ide, and Charlene Metzger.
Charlotte Mehoskey and Marie Madron presented a check to art teacher Christine Iaquinto at Charlestown Elementary as principal, Stacey Rominski looks on.
